Salmon Bit Sliders

Picture
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 30 mins
Total Time: 45 mins
Serving: 6 people

Ingredients:
  • 3 medium sized salmon filets (you'll cut each into 3 pieces = 12)
  • 1 pack of Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 large tomato
  • 6 pieces of turkey bacon
  • 2 large pieces of lettuce (will break apart for each slider)
  • Stone ground mustard
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Avocado Oil, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, oregano & Italian seasoning
Instructions:
  1. Pre-heat oven to 450 F.
  2. Place the salmon filets on large baking sheet. Drizzle avocado oil on top and then add seasonings; be sure to add sliced lemon on top of salmon before placing in the oven. Cook salmon for 15- 20 mins.
  3. While salmon is cooking in the oven, place turkey bacon in a large sauce pan on high heat. Cook till its crispy! (YUM, you kitchen should smell like heaven now lol)
  4. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half. Remove the top half and brush soften butter on each half. Then place each half (open face) in oven on broil. This creates a good crisp on the bread so the salmon won't make it soggy. Then begin to layer ingredients.
  5. First, spread the stone ground mustard on the bottom half of the rolls; second, cut salmon into three pieces to cover the 12 rolls; third, break the bacon in half then place a piece on each slider; finally, place a piece of tomato & lettuce on each slider, then place the top half of the rolls back on the sliders! (add a toothpick in each to keep sliders together)
  6. Serve and Enjoy!! (2 per person is usually what I shoot for.)
